**2021 Fall Clinical Case Conference - in person with a virtual option**

October 29, 2021 - Millennium Times Square New York, New York

SSTAR will host the 2021 Clinical Case Conference in person at the Millennium Times Square New York hotel in a larger, exclusive space on the 8th floor of the hotel. This new space will allow for comfortable social distancing, private eating area and SSTAR only restrooms.

For those unable to attend in person SSTAR is offering an exclusive virtual option with attendees watching the in-person case presentations and discussions via Zoom. A moderator will facilitate live Q&A with both in-person and virtual attendees.

**SSTAR Calls for Paper Submissions**

Annual Meeting

Papers are now being accepted for consideration for the 47th Annual Meeting of the Society for Sex Therapy and Research (SSTAR). The Annual Meeting is scheduled for April 28-May 1, 2022 in Chicago, Illinois.

**New SSTAR Award!**

Society for Sex Therapy and Research (SSTAR) Early Career Professional Essay Award

Purpose: The SSTAR Early Career Professional and Students. Essay Award recognizes the clinical work of SSTAR members who are entering their career as clinicians and may include medical residents or interns in any accredited academic program or full-time trainees in clinical sexuality and/or sex research, or are still completing requirements for licensure are invited to submit.

Eligibility: Submissions are invited from early career professionals and students.

Submission Guidelines: Submissions may be about any unpublished clinical work that focuses on sexuality or sexual health, including the understanding, assessment, treatment, or prevention of sexual concerns. The essay must be related to the annual Scientific Program theme, “Sexual Healing: Pleasure and Positivity in our Modern World”. Please ensure confidentiality, and permission of the patient, throughout your essay. Examples of possible submissions are:

  • A case conceptualization
  • Discussion of a therapeutic approach related to a specific case
  • A discussion about issues encountered in therapy related to a specific case
  • A discussion about successes in therapy related to a specific case

**Call for Research Participants**

I am Jennifer Litner, some of you may know me as @embracesexualwellness from Instagram. I am a sexologist in Chicago, IL and I am a doctoral candidate at Widener University. I’m writing to you for assistance in recruiting for my study.

If you or someone you know is in an intimate relationship, you can help further research by participating in my research study.

I am looking to reach individuals ages 18-25 years of age who are currently in an ongoing intimate, romantic or sexual relationship and have been educated in the United States. Participation in the study is completely voluntary. Participants will be asked to answer questions in an online survey that will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. If you choose to participate in the full survey and meet all inclusion criteria, you will have the option to enter a drawing to win one of four $50.00 gift cards.
