**Virtual Training**
The Buehler Institute
Natasha Helfer, LMFT, CSTS and The Buehler Institute present four 3-hour recorded webinars on working with conservative religious clients.
- “Sex Therapy with Religiously Conservative Clients.” This course provides an overview of conservative religion in the US and how to ethically approach treatment of sexual issues in this population.
- “Mixed Orientation Marriages: Personal Perspectives, Therapist Bias, and Ethical Approaches to Treatment.” Learn how to work with religiously conservative couples in which one partner is openly or comes out as LGBTQ+.
- “Working with Conservative LGBTQ+ clients.” Two therapists—one a lesbian ex-Mormon and one a lesbian trans woman--join Helfer in talking about their experiences and the experiences of others who have been caught in the intersection of personal and faith identities.
- “Working with Self-identified Porn and Sex Addicts in Religiously Conservative Communities.” What does an ethical therapist do when a client who practices their faith presents with an issue that is at odds with the research? Helfer presents many approaches to working with self-identified sex addicts.
Each 3-hour webinar can be purchased separately for $99 or as a bundle for $347. Learn more about the series at https://www.learnsextherapy.com/course/sex-love-faith
